It has been a wonderful and fulfilling time serving as your president. I have had the opportunity to generate new friendships, strengthen old friendships and get to know plenty of the women who make up the Florida United Church of Christ Women. It is with sincere gratitude that I thank you for this opportunity. This will be my last address to you as your president, as at this year’s conference we will be electing new officers.
Now, let’s talk about this year’s conference.
Prior to May 4, 2018, there are some significant things that need to be done to make this conference great, and YOU have the opportunity to be the catalysts. Here are a few ways which you can do just that:
This will be our 91st year hosting the conference for the Women of the Florida Conference. Our history is ever-changing and expanding. Every year adds a new layer and new women. Come, be a vital part of it all. We are because you are. Join us and allow us to join you. We need you to survive.
My prayer for all of us is that this year we will see God's promises manifested in our collective and individual lives.
God bless us, each and every one.
Patsy McDowell - President
