LGBT Concerns

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT)

Whoever you are, wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!

A comma, because Gracie Allen left George Burns a note when she died, saying, “George, never place a period where God has placed a comma.”

A comma, because we believe God’s truth is always being revealed and God is Still Speaking.

A comma, because the period at the end of the Bible is not the end of God’s revelation.

A comma, because our faith may be 2,000 years old but our thinking is not.

A rainbow comma, because God’s love is fully inclusive and we try to live that inclusive love.

> Open and Affirming (ONA) — Open and Affirming is a journey of building inclusive churches and other ministry settings that welcome the full participation of LGBT people in the UCC's life and ministry.

> Find an Open and Affirming UCC church  (Please note,  many UCC congregations that may not have adopted an ONA covenant for various reasons are nevertheless welcoming and safe communities for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Christians.)
