Faith Formation Ministry
As a process of growth and transformation, spiritual formation is at the heart of the Christian faith.
Spiritual formation is the process of cultivating, nurturing, and nourishing one’s inner spirit so they can grow in Love, discover their connection with God the Divine, and continue to mature in grace and compassion and in works of justice and peace.
The Florida Conference believes that growing in faith is a lifelong journey. Hence, our congregations offer children, youth and adults opportunities for learning and developing the faith as they nurture the seed within. For, we are called to grow in Christ and in the Spirit producing the fruits of the Spirit which are: “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and responsibility.” Galatians 5.

The Florida Conference United Church of Christ is a community of congregations around Florida that partner in covenant to engage in the ministry of Jesus Christ to be the Church in the 21st century.
