Spiritual Growth and Leadership Development
The United Church of Christ has a long history of leading in service and social justice with women in leadership roles. Florida UCC Women provides a community for women to promote justice for all.
In gratitude, we celebrate that we are created in God’s image with unique gifts and creativity. The Florida UCC Women are included in every part of church life. We are leaders, teachers, historians and visionaries engaged in fellowship and outreach, building and accomplishing a variety of ministries in their local churches and greater communities.

Laywoman of the Year
Each year, the Florida UCC Women honor leaders within the Florida Conference who, through faith and action, use their God-given gifts and talents to make a difference in their local church and wider community, fostering a more loving and just world. Nominations for Laywoman of the Year are open to all women involved in the life and ministry of local UCC churches across the Florida Conference. We joyfully recognize all nominees at our annual retreat.
