Youth Ministry
Youth in the Florida Conference United Church of Christ are a vital part of the church. They are integrated into the life of the wider church as they participate in Florida Conference gatherings and as well as national and regional gatherings of the UCC such as the national General Synod Gathering where hundreds of youth are usually in attendance as they serve as delegates and in positions of leadership and helpers.
It is our hope and our vision that youth in the United Church of Christ in Florida Conference will embrace the greatest words of Jesus Christ, which calls upon us all "to love neighbor, self and God." We hope that Jesus' words inform their faith journey toward a more just earth in the quest for peace and justice. We pray that our youth are imagining and believing that God is still speaking in their lives, while trusting that the Holy Spirit remains active in the ways we all live out our faith here on earth, for all of God's children.
As a gathered community of faith who covenant together, The Florida Conference UCC believes in offering safe spaces to all youth. We want to ensure that our congregations also embrace safe church policies for all. As such we offer the safe church guidelines for use in your church to ensure a sacred and safe space for all, especially the young.

The Florida Conference United Church of Christ is a community of congregations around Florida that partner in covenant to engage in the ministry of Jesus Christ to be the Church in the 21st century.
